Peace Officers Memorial Day

Peace Officers Memorial Day

May 15

National Peace Officers Memorial Day is held May 15. The pictures are from the National Memorial in Washington DC. Lions watch over their playful cubs. There is also a wall engraved each May with the names of the fallen Peace Officers from the year before.

For the fallen, may you walk with God. Our prayers are with the families of the fallen.

On May 15, the Flag is to be flown at half-staff in memory of all of those who have given their lives protecting us.

Great post. Our police officers and Law Enforcement folks need all the support we can offer them.
