Korean War Memorial Under Snow

When you read about or hear stories about the Korean War,
there is always discussion of the sleet, the snow, the bitter cold.
I think the statues look like I think of the Korean War in these pictures.

These are beautiful shots. My father served in intelligence during the Korean war. He met my mother --a WAC, and they were married in Seoul.
WOW - what a great story!
My (ex) father-in-law, now dead, was at the Chosin Reservoir. About 30 members of the Chosin Few (an organization of CR survivors) came to his funeral and I've NEVER met a more dedicated or interesting Band of Brothers in my life. You simply cannot begin to believe the stories those guys could... and did... tell. Bataan and D-Day have nothing on those guys as far as heroic experiences go.
the Korean War was a tough haul - and then they were ignored --- I am thankful for them all.
